HOW TO COOK HI RAW! PROPERLY FOR YOUR PETS?
01.05.2023
Nowadays, keeping pets, especially dogs, is no longer unfamiliar to many families. The pet food market is growing day by day, but with it comes many low-quality products also available on the market. Dogs, just like humans, need food made from fresh ingredients to ensure their health. However, pet owners don't always have the time to go to the market or supermarket every day to buy and prepare food for their pets.
That's why Hi Raw! has introduced the "Gà Salad Sức Khỏe" (Salad Day of Chicken) and "Heo Salad Khỏe Đẹp" (Salad Day of Pork) product lines to meet the demand for safe and convenient pet food.
Let's take a look at how to properly use these two cooked products for your dog:
Step 1: Thawing
The best method is to thaw the meat overnight in the refrigerator. Put the meat in a sealed container and place it in the bottom compartment of the refrigerator the night before. It's best to prepare enough meals for 2-3 days, depending on the size of your refrigerator.
Alternatively, you can try thawing with cold water, which takes about 15-20 minutes. Put the frozen meat in a waterproof bag and immerse it in a basin of cold water. Avoid using hot water (as this can even cook the outer part of the meat if it's too hot).
Step 2: Cooking
There are several ways to cook Hi Raw! products for your dog:
Boiling in a pot with a little water: Once the Hi Raw! meat is completely thawed, put an appropriate amount for your dog's meal in a pot with about 6-7cm of water. Bring the mixture to a boil and then simmer on medium heat for 10-15 minutes before turning off the stove to let it cool. Divide the cooked food into small portions for each meal if you cook a large quantity.
Sautéing in a pan with a little cooking oil: Adjust the amount of meat according to your pet's needs and place it in a pan. Stir-fry it for about 10 minutes without adding any additional seasonings as spices can upset your dog's stomach.
Cooking in the microwave: This method is suitable for busy individuals, but you need to refer to the instructions of your microwave model to avoid undercooking the food, which can lead to digestive problems for your dog.
Step 3: Storage
The maximum shelf life of the cooked products is 6 months when stored in the freezer.
It's best to cook a large batch, then portion it into smaller containers, and store them in the fridge for 3-4 days.
Monitor and provide the appropriate amount of food according to your pet's dietary needs.
By following these steps, you can ensure that you are cooking Hi Raw! products properly and providing safe and nutritious meals for your beloved furry companion.
